![]() Your NOOK supports microSD cards up to 256GB (not included). To install a microSD card, carefully insert the card as shown below into the card slot until it clicks and locks into place. Portable Storage (Default and recommended) To remove the microSD card, gently press it inward to eject.ġ. This option is recommended for users who only plan to use their SD card for media storage, or plan to switch between multiple SD cards. The default write disk will be set to Internal Storage, which means that all captured photos & video, screenshots, downloaded Ebooks, etc. If you want to change the default write disk to SD card, you can do so by going into Settings > Storage & USB, then select the SD card as Default write disk. Some eBooks can only be downloaded to SD card from your Library once you enable the settings from NOOK Settings. This option is recommended for users who wish to expand the existing storage of their tablet, and plan to always keep their SD card inserted. This option adopts your SD card into the tablet’s internal storage to increase storage space for supported apps and data. Removing the SD card after it is set to Internal storage will prevent access to all apps and data stored on it until it is re-inserted.
